What’s involved?

We are currently recruiting volunteers for Doorknock Appeal 2008. We need ActNow to help! If you have a few hours to spare in September, we want to hear from you! The Doorknock Appeal runs for all of September and you must be over the age of 16 to collect.
The Heart Foundation Doorknock Appeal 2007 was a great success, raising around $4.3 million nationally to support our vital health and research programs. This year we are hoping to raise 4.4 million to continue our lifesaving work.
The Doorknock Appeal is a great way to meet you neighbours and participate in some healthy physical activity, while raising money for a great cause. Or, you might like to do an 'online' doorknock, where you can email your friends and family asking them to donate. Too easy!
Just email us at vicevents@heartfoundation.org.au with your name, address and phone number and we will send you a collectors kit straight away!
Or call us on 03 9321 1533 to sign up.

- It's a great way to meet the neighbours!
- It's a good excuse for a walk.
- Helping others by volunteering is great experience.
- Take your friends with you and he or she will love you for it.
- It's a good excuse to not mow the lawn/wash the car/vacuum the floors/do the ironing, etc...
