What’s involved?
Position/project name: ActNow Three Things Content Developer
Role Description: As the ActNow Three Things Content Developer you will be primarily responsible for researching, editing and creating new written and multi-media content for the ActNow Newsletter - Three Things.
The content that you will create will have a focus on new and emerging online technologies and how they are being harnessed by and for young people. This content is written to be relevant and engaging to the organisations who ActNow partners with.
Also as the Three Things Content Developer you will work with staff in assisting with the future direction of the newsletter.
Why should people do this?
- Develop research, writing skills and multi-media skills
- Gain an understanding of creating content for a website
- Develop an understanding of social development and the not-for-profit sector
- Gain experience working in a team orientated environment
- Develop technical skills such as website moderation
Other stuff
Time Requirements: 2 days per week (minimum 15 hours per week). Internships will commence at the end of August and run for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Age requirements: You need to be aged 14-25 years to apply for this role
Location: Interns work in the Inspire Foundation (www.inspire.org.au) office in Sydney as part of the ActNow team.
