AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS

Events Begin at 6am until 9:00pm on Saturday January 26, 2008 at Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith. This event is suitable for the family.

Things to see:

·         Pyro-Musical firework finale on the lake-the largest display outside of Sydney CBD, presented by Integral Energy.

·         Helicopter and Aquatic Stunt Show

·         Main Stage Performances – Dean Geyer, Deni Hines, James Reyne and The Enormous Horns.

·         Childrens’ Performers (Character Shows) – Dora The Explorer, Blinky Bill, Skippy, and Humphrey B. Bear.

·         Freestyle Moto-Cross stunt and tandem trampoline shows.

·         A stage of the Australian Pro Wake Board Championships.

Things to do:

·         Aquatic activities (sailing, canoeing, model boats, vintage boats, swimming, fishing).

·         Rides, circus playground, roaming entertainment, and family fun areas.

·         Interactive workshops and displays - Mask and hat making.

·         Heritage Zone with demonstrations and displays - young and old can pan for gold.

·         Kids Fun Zone - amusement rides, jumping castles and trampolining.
