What’s involved?
Here are some actions you can take to make your opinions on desalination heard:
*Email Sydney Water to find out more about plans to construct a desalination plant. Let your concerns (if you have any) be heard by the agency planning the construction.
_Email_: desalination@sydneywater.com.au
_Phone_: 1800 685 833
Alternatively, you can register your interest on the Sydney Water website (www.sydneywater.com.au), and they’ll email you.
*Write to the NSW government, letting them know your concerns, and whether or not you want other options explored or implemented.
_Premier of NSW_: Morris Iemma
thepremier@www.nsw.gov.au
_Minister for Planning_: The Hon. Frank Sartor
office@sartor.minister.nsw.gov.au
*Join a campaign (or, alternatively, start your own) aiming to conserve and preserve water.
