What’s involved?
Have you ever thought of combining film, gaming, music, animation and art to create something new? Then this is just the thing for you!
Propel Youth Arts is working with Hyper to present Pollinate #19 Digital Art Forum for young people aged 12 – 25 years. Featuring VJ artist Bonnie Davies and animator Steve Aiton, this interactive presentation is an amazing opportunity for you to meet Perth’s finest digital artists and explore the awesome concept of Digital Art including animation and VJ-ing.
The forum will be held on Saturday 10th July, 10.30am – 3pm.
Following on from Propel’s Forum, attendees will have the opportunity to extend their digital art skills with the Hyper Digitalism Workshop Series held in the week of July 12th – July 18th.
The forum and workshop series will be held at the Midland Junction Arts Centre.
Why should people do this?
*Meet new people!
*Hear about the history of animation and develop your own flash animation skills by attending the Animation Workshop Series with Steve Aiton.
*Learn about VJ-ing software and programming and develop your own VJzoo presentation with the VJ-ing Workshop Series with Bonnie Davies and the crew from Vjzoo Jasper Cook and Kat Black.
*Workshop participants will also get the chance to create their own animation and VJ presentation to showcase at the Hyper Festival and be included on Hyper’s soon to be launched NEW website.
