What’s involved?
What?
Cruelty Free Living Festival is a fun-filled, day-long event with live bands, performers, speakers, kid's entertainment, cooking demonstrations, more than 40 stalls, free workshops and film screenings in a mini-cinema.
Come along to Belmore Park in Haymarket, Sydney to learn about simple things you can do every day to help save animals from cruelty, such as using products that haven't been tested on animals, adopting homeless animals from shelters or pounds, kinder dietary choices, sponsoring animals in need, responsible pet care, and much more.
Find out about the ethical, health and environmental benefits of cruelty free living - all while eating delicious food, enjoying the entertainment and having fun.

Why should people do this?
Aside from having a great day out and eating free demos of everything from veggie hotdogs to vegan chocolate tortes, the festival is a great way to get in touch with not for profit organisations such as Free the Bears or the Australian Orangutan project.
You can find out about great opportunities to volunteer with animal projects and shelters that protect and save lives.
