Today Australians spend billions of dollars a year on fast food, more than on university education, computers, software or new cars. More than on movies, books, magazines, newspapers, recorded music combined. On average, each Australian eats more than 250 take-away meals each year.

Just saw the film last night. I'm speechless. The film speaks for itself. It raises so many issues that go well beyond just fast food culture. Very confronting and highly emotive and some scenes are really hard to watch. Paints a somewhat bleak picture though and leaves you without much hope. Definitely worth watching. Will change the way you think about some things and open up your eyes to some harsh realities that we too often ignore. I'll be thinking more about where and how the things I buy and consume came to be. Overall a great thought provoking film.
