What’s involved?

Cultural and Indigenous Research Australia, the Inspire Foundation and the University of Sydney are doing research that looks at what enables or prevents young people from diverse communities participating in community and government decision making.
They're running an online discussion forum where you’ll be able to respond to questions and engage in discussions about your experiences of online participation.
The forum will run for
two weeks from Friday, 17 August – Friday, 31 August 2007. You’ll need to be able to contribute to the discussion over that two weeks—but you can get online whenever it suits you!
What’s in it for you?
1. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences, ideas and insights with other young people from around Australia and, at the same time, make sure that young people’s perspectives are reflected in the research.
2. We can provide you with a letter of acknowledgement for your participation.
3. You’ll receive a $20 Coles Myer voucher to say thank you for your time and input!
If you’d like to get involved and be a part of this please email
Pip Collin.
This research is being funded by FACSIA, through the National Youth Affairs Research Scheme. It's important that young people’s attitudes and experiences are heard—and that means YOU being a part of it!
