What’s involved?

is working to understand why people volunteer. This is so volunteering organisations and government can gain a better understanding of how to attract, retain and regain volunteers. We hope this will ensure that a strong volunteer base continues to exist and be built upon for all of us into the future.
We want to collect thousands of stories from people who volunteer, people who manage and use volunteers and people who fund volunteering organisations. From this we can start to look at the common themes and patterns which emerge.
Even if you have not volunteered previously you can still provide useful insights, so please fill in our on-line survey and tell YOUR stories.
For giving us your valuable time, you can nominate yourself to be part of a draw to win a choice of either iPod / gift voucher (valued at $300), or one of 20 double movie passes at the conclusion of the survey.
