What’s involved?

Loving Kindness Peaceful Youth has partnered up with Queenslands Karuna and QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre) to get involved with YOUth for Kindness Week.
YOUth for kindness week was an initiative of Karuna in 2007 to celebrate Nobel Peace Prize winner, His Holiness the Dalai Lamas visit to Australian Zoo.
Next week the Dalai Lama is visiting Australia again and we have the opportunity fill a wall backstage, presenting Young peoples images and expressions of kindness.
So we need your help: We need hundreds of images (we have a huge space to fill). So grab your pens, pencils, textas or cameras and start thinking about what kindness means to you and how you can express kindness in an image or with words.
Think big, think small, get creative, think of of the square and back inside it. Get together with your friends, your families, your kids, with strangers or by yourself. Whatever inspires you. Put it on paper or into your computer or photograph it and email it in ASAP.
This is a rare chance to get your images seen directly by the Dalai Lama.
When you have created your image, email it to info@lkpy.org by midnight (Australian time) on Monday 9th of June 2008.
I want to do this!
