What’s involved?
December 10 is International Human Rights Day, and the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that fabulous international document that outlines the fundamental human rights that we all hold and deserve. This year, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is 59 years old.
I love celebrating Human Rights and making it a celebration of our common humanity. SO this, with my local Amnesty International Australia groups in Canberra, I'm organising a Human Rights Day Birthday Party on Sunday 9 December, 10:30am at Starbucks City Walk, Civic, Canberra.
We'll have a HUGE birthday cake, free cooffee, presents, giveaways, balloons and lots of thinsg for people to do to celebrate and commemorate human rights for all people.
It will be a fun morning, so come along, bring your friends and family and enjoy come birthday cake!
I want to do this!
