What’s involved?

  • If you’re thinking about buying a car, consider a hybrid.

  • If you know someone who might be buying a car, talk to them about hybrid, environmentally-friendly car technology.

  • Write a letter to the Federal Minister of Transport and Regional Services of the Federal Minister for Environment and Heritage requesting tax cuts on imported hybrid vehicles and other incentives for those who buy them.

  • Write a letter to the Minister for Transport in your state suggesting that discounts be offered to motorists registering environmentally-friendly cars.
