What?
Women across Australia will rally at Parliament Houses at 12 midday on The 28th of March 2008.
Why?
The many shocking cases of abuse that have been highlighted in the media regarding medical boards and health departments failing in their duty of care to consumers have horrified people across Australia. Rallies are happening in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide. We must express our horror and outrage that medical malpractice is allowed to happen in our health system. We must show our support for the victims, and send the clear message that this must never be allowed to happen again, and that perpetrators must be brought to justice.
