What’s involved?
Position/project name: Reach Out Digital Content Creator
Role description: Develop digital content for the Reach Out program.
Background: www.reachout.com (an initiative of the Inspire Foundation) is a web-based program that offers young people information, support and the tools they need to help them better understand mental health issues, build resilience, increase their coping skills and know where to go for the help they need.
Why should people do this?
- Develop research, sub-editing, and mutli-media editing skills
- Develop understanding of mental health and wellbeing
- Gain an understanding of commissioning and editing digital content for a website
- Develop an understanding of the not-for-profit sector
- Gain experience working in a team orientated, fun environment
- Develop technical skills such as website moderation
Other stuff
Time Requirements: 2 days per week (minimum 15 hours per week). Internships will commence at the end of August and run for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Age requirements: You need to be aged 14-25 years to apply for this role
Location: Interns work in the Inspire Foundation www.inspire.org.au office in Sydney as part of the Reach Out team.
