Removing Youth stereotypes

A project at uni requires us to create a program to cover a "gap" in today's society. The gap we have chosen is the stereotypes between youth and older generations.

What’s involved?

Ideas we are interested in is building a connection between students in years 7-10 and elderly (in nursing home, hostel, self care units, community groups).

Our idea is to create opportunities that tie in with the school syllabus, so that this will not be an extra curricular activity that students will not want to participate in.

The goals are to remove stereotypes from youth and elderly, and bring both age groups closer. Also, to gain insight into each age group and develop a sense of respect for both ages.

Why should people do this?
