What’s involved?
1. You send your message (along with the 30 euro donation) at www.sendamessage.nl
2) Palestinian graffiti artists will then spray your message on the West bank wall
3) You receive 3 digital photos via email showcasing the message
Anything goes except for obscene, offensive or hate speech (so be as creative as you like!)
Why should people do this?
As the organisation behind this project says - the 620km long West bank wall was constructed to "keep people apart". This project aims to now "bring people together"...
Spraying your message on the wall reminds the people who are trapped within it that they are not forgotton about.
All revenue raised through the 30 euro fee will also go to supporting grass roots cultura, educational and social projects operated by independent NGOs. Examples of projects that funding has so far been used for range from public gardens, buying bicycles and repairing damaged housing.
