What’s involved?

The Climate Project has produced a new documentary called Telling The Truth which follows seven Climate Project presenters, personally trained by Al Gore, as they take his message to spark change in their own communities across the country, from Arnhem Land to Canberra.

As one of a select group of Connectors, you have to:

  • Deliver a minimum of 3 screenings of Telling the Truth (size doesn't matter as we're happy to substitute quantity for quality)
  • Talk to your audiences and community about Connector projects
  • Report back on your progress

Our aim is to screen the documentary 1000 times by December 1 2008, when the signatory countries to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change sit down in Poland to begin discussions around what the next Kyoto Protocol will look like. Eventually, we want to have 1209 live Connector projects up and running by December 2009 when the world's leaders will meet in Copenhagen to draw up the plans for a post-Kyoto world.

Why should people do this?

It’s a local, community-based activity that can be as big or as small as you want it to be, and working with The Climate Project, and Who on Earth Cares, you can get support for the environmental changes you’d like to see take place in your community.

I want to do this!
