What’s involved?
TranSCRIBE 09 is calling all young writers to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences about issues that affect young people. Stories can be fiction, non fiction, poetry, journal entries, letters, autobiograhpical or any other form of writing!
The topics for this year are:
1) Write a story about a young person (this could be you) coping with mental health issues either personally, in their family or with their friends.
2) Write about the experiences of a young person from a culturally or linguistically diverse community that is/was living in difficult times (this could be in Australia or overseas).
Stories should be a maximum of 2000 words (typed or neatly hand written).
Entry forms for TranSCRIBE 09 are attached :)
