What’s involved?

In October 2007, Oxfam Australia will bring 300 young people together from around the world. Over 8 days these young people will broaden their perspectives, develop new skills, knowledge and networks and plan for future action in their communities. This event marks the beginning of the 3 year Oxfam International Youth Partnerships program in which these young people will be supported by Oxfam to work with their communities to create positive, equitable and sustainable change.
They’re currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers with skills in:
- journalism, writing and editing
- research and evaluation
- education and training
- graphic design
- web, IT
- media and arts production
- PR/ media
- event coordination
- event logistics
- customer service
- cross cultural communication
- spanish language
- participant support
