What’s involved?

Student Community Involvement Program runs school seminars aimed at introducing students to volunteering and giving them a chance to hear talks from a range of different organisations about the work they do.

SCIP speakers present to groups of young people, between 10 and 350, introducing them to volunteering and finishing the half day program (20mins to 1 hour) and the other speakers from other organisations will talk to the students inbetween.

Training: Public speaking training provided and orientation of organisation and SCIP program.

Skills: Suit a youthful, enthusiastic person with previous volunteering experience. You should be passionate about volunteering and community involvement.
