What’s involved?

We’re really keen to get your input into the redevelopment of two key resources that are specifically designed for use during ‘youth action workshops’. The workshops aim to provide participants with the skills and tools they need to take action on issues that are important to them.
Project background
The action workshops form part of the ‘Bridging the Digital Divide’ project, an initiative of Inspire Foundation currently being piloted in collaboration with youth services in Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Funded by VicHealth and Westpac Foundation, the project aims to engage young people aged between 16 and 25 years and, in particular, young people who are from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and life experiences, including:
- Culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds (including newly arrived migrants + refugees)
- Indigenous Australians
- Same sex attracted and/or transgender young people
- Young carers
- Young people in care
About the resources
There are currently two key print based resources that are used during the action workshops that we are about to redevelop.
The Making Change Workshop Booklet
This resource links closely to the workshop content and activities. It is mostly intended for young people who participate in the Action Workshops who will be guided through the booklet by facilitators. View it online here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=4663DC421B75C781
You Can Make A Difference / Action Card
This resource is distributed during the action workshops and is intended to serve as a quick reference point. It may also be distributed more widely, to young people who do not participate in the Action Workshops. You can view it online here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=6AC35F43578430A0
Complete the online feedback survey!
