A four-day conference filled with forums and workshops about the root causes of climate change, the impacts and the solutions.

This conference offers an honest look at the barriers to real action on climate change, and identifying the opportunities FOR action.

Hands-on learning like workshops to make solar-powered sound systems! A range of skills training so you get the most out of the conference whether you're already working on climate action campaigning or want to get started.
Organised by the Australian Student Environment Network (ASEN) and Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) - by young people for young people!

Find out about existing ASEN and AYCC initiatives like switching schools and universities to renewable energy.

An inclusive, supportive and empowering environment!

Where: Mountain Camp, Katoomba Convention Centre (2 hours west of Sydney)
When: 18th-21st October
Who: You! Young people concerned about climate change
Accommodation: Comfortable rooms with bunk-style beds if you'd like to stay on-site.

This large-scale Youth Climate Action Conference is the first of its kind in Australia - register today!

Registration

Standard registration is 3 nights' accommodation at the Collaroy Centre and all meals from afternoon tea on Tuesday 9/10/07 to lunch on Friday 12/10/07. Cost and registration options are:

Standard, Student/Unwaged: $100
One Day Passes including one-night accommodation and meals, Waged/sponsored: $60
One Day Passes including one-night accommodation and meals, Student/Unwaged: $35
One Day Passes meals only, Waged/sponsored: $30
One Day Passes including meals only, Student/Unwaged: $15

*Sponsored means if, for example your school is able to sponsor you to attend the conference.

The conference is committed to making participation as financially accessible as possible. There are some subsidies available - please speak to us! The conference is not-for-profit and costs cover the cost of venue hire, accommodation and food as relevant only.
