Understanding Islam Gallery

I took the opportunity to photograph a group of Muslim women visiting the Graffiti Tunnel at Sydney Uni while I was there photographing for a piece that be will part of the upcoming Places feature. The girls were passing through and spent some time talking to one another as they gathered around Islamic wall mural in the tunnel. A few of them excitedly added their own graffiti to the wall. A couple of these pictures appear in the Sydney Uni Gallery as well. Hopefully these images portray some of the faces around Sydney that are part of the larger Islamic culture in Australia.
