Why do we exist ?
We believe that Australia's policies toward refugees and asylum seekers should at all times reflect respect, decency and traditional Australian generosity to those in need, while advancing Australia's international standing and national interests
What do we do ?
We aim to achieve just and compassionate treatment of refugees,
consistent with the human rights standards which Australia has developed and endorsed.
What opportunities do we have for young people ?
We publish a monthly newsletter with the latest information on refugee policy and practice. This newsletter keeps supporters informed of steps they can take to help achieve just and humane refugee policy reform. Additionally, people can volunteer in our Sydney office or at home to help with various tasks in the campaign. Alternately, we can help put them in touch with other organisations in their area who also need volunteers.
