Why do we exist ?
The Australian Drug Foundation (ADF) exists to support people to prevent or reduce drug harms. The ADF is the only non-government organisation in Australia working primarily in the area of prevention of drug problems. Programs managed include the Australian Drug Information Network, DrugInfo Clearinghouse, Good Sports, Community Alcohol Action Network and Somazone.
What do we do ?
The ADF provides a range of information, advocacy, research and education programs relating to alcohol and illegal drugs. Somazone is the ADF’s online youth information program, providing quality-assured, non-judgemental health information about sex, drugs, relationships, body image and mental health through www.somazone.com.au.
What opportunities do we have for young people ?
The ADF welcomes the contribution of young people to the ongoing development of Somazone. Working with the Information Officer, this may involve contributing to online discussion about the future of the site, evaluating content, reviewing answers from health professionals and giving feedback on design. The contributions are likely to be casual and irregular in nature.
