Why do we exist ?

To help people realise their human rights. The Commission works towards the elimination of discrimination, sexual harassment, and racial and religious vilification.

What do we do ?

The Commission provides a free, confidential, impartial and simple complaint resolution service to help people resolve complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, and racial and religious vilification.

We also inform and educate people about their equal opportunity rights and responsibilities through community consultations, education and training, awareness campaigns and media.

What opportunities do we have for young people ?

Our website http://www.eoc.vic.gov.au contains lots of information about equal opportunity, discrimination and human rights.

Other Stuff

Play by the Rules is an interactive web-based resource designed to help schools, sporting associations and clubs ensure that sport is safe and free from discrimination and harassment. The on-line training courses are specifically designed for athletes, administrators, coaches and umpires.
