Streetwize Communications is a national not-for-profit social communications agency.

We believe knowledge is power.

When you are constantly bombarded with conflicting messages telling you what is the 'right' thing to do with your lives, we think it can be difficult to access some information that may be most relevant.

Streetwize believes that people use information more effectively if it has been designed with their real experiences in mind, as well as offering non-judgmental advice and a range of support. We believe there is a lack of appropriate information, and we aim to fill that gap.
We are the experts in communicating ideas. You are the experts in your lives. Together, we can make knowledge your power.

We undertake credible social research with young people in order to deliver relevant resources on a range of social, health and legal issues. Streetwize produces accessible comics, information campaigns, educator kits, animation, posters, playing cards, capacity building workshops and innovative resources on issues such as law, health, violence and discrimination.

Streetwize involves young people in the Streetwize Process. In the research phase we find out what young people know about a particular subject, what they need to know and how they would like to find out about it. Once we have developed the draft art we then seek feedback from young people. This ensures that our resources connect with the people they’re intended for, and remain relevant.
