Volunteer Overseas with Projects Abroad

Projects Abroad was established when the interest in combining travel and volunteer work was realised.

Now we work to provide safe and well-supported volunteer projects in developing countries around the globe. We place our volunteers in orphanages, schools, hospitals and remote nature reserves to help improve the lives of the communities in which we volunteer.

Projects Abroad organises voluntary placements across 5 continents. Our projects cover a wide range of interests, from working with orphaned or special needs children, teaching English or conservation work, to volunteering as a Journalist, in a Human Rights Law firm or in a medical clinic.

Generally, you do not need any experience to participate in our projects – just enthusiasm and a proactive, positive attitude!

Projects Abroad offers you the chance to gain new skills and experience on one of our many worthwhile projects. Your energy, compassion and skills can make a real difference to the lives of the people you work with in projects based around care, teaching, sports and community programmes.

Other projects in human rights law, conservation, journalism, medicine and physiotherapy, offer unique work experience with the chance to make a contribution to the community within which you live.
