Why do we exist ?
To help those affected by or at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS.
What do we do ?
To minimise the impact and further transmission of HIV, other Blood Borne Viruses and Sexually Transmissible Infections
To demonstrate leadership and excellence in education, advocacy support and health enhancement services
In its 23rd year of serving the Western Australian community, the W.A. AIDS Council (WAAC) is a community based organisation that provides education, counselling, advocacy, support and care to people living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and those at risk of transmission of the virus.
What opportunities do we have for young people ?
Young people are encouraged to participate in all fund raising & events and also at the Freedom Centre, a drop in service for young people with diverse sexualities and gender (under 26)
