Why do we exist ?
To advance the human rights of all transgender, transsexual and intersexed (TTI) people and their significant others, with a specific focus on the situation in Western Australia.
What do we do ?
Lobby and advocate for legislative and policy change, as well as improved service provision and access to services; act as a resource and information source in regards to issues related to TTI people; and promote positive representation and increased visibility of TTI people.
What opportunities do we have for young people ?
We pay particular attention as an organisation to the specific needs of young TTI people, and welcome any young people who identify as transgender, transsexual and intersexed, or are generally aware of and concerned about the impact of gender, to get involved in our campaigns.
Other Stuff
We have been involved in consultations for the proposed Federal Access card, and are currently focusing on lobbying to have specific West Australian legislation reviewed and amended. We are also starting to lobby for a Gender Clinic or similiar here in WA.
