Why do we exist ?
Ecoclubes is a international movement made up of young people who are interested in improving the environment and quality of life within their respective communitites.
Young people aged between 14 to 25 work together on specific projects organised by their coordinators.
One of the unique caracteristic about Ecoclubes is the level of organisation and responsibility given to each group. The children implement concretes changes and have contact with others children from many different countries around the world.
Through this organisation, we have created an international network in 29 countries of Americas, Europe and Africa that promotes worldwide understanding. Another goal of Ecoclubes is to raise awareness of the sustainability issues faced by a particular community along with problems existing at a global level.
What do we do ?
Currently, we are developing the following programs, focused on:
- eradicating Dengue fever,
- increasing awareness about recycling and composting
- providing potable water to as many people as possible,
- planting trees.
What opportunities do we have for young people ?
