How do you describe your bands’ sound?

Like dancing so hard you want to smile.

Name one song or album that totally sums you up?

Impossible, but closest thing I can imagine is our EP.

What other bands influence your music?

Passionate and Strong Live Bands.

ActNow is all about taking action on issues that people are passionate about – so what does “action” mean to you?

Standing in the streets and feeling the solidarity of the other people around me. This is most heightened during peaceful protest/support demonstrations.

What issues are you passionate about?

Socialism being put back on the agenda in conversation.  Capitalism is a flawed inequitable system that causes war and poverty, protects property over people.

What are some hot issues in your local area?

People with no money or safety net feeling alienation.

Do issues in the world around you effect how you write your material?

Yes.

How important do you think music is to create awareness around issues that the world faces today?

It depends on the clarity and quality of the artist.  But it is very possible.

If you weren’t a musician what would you be doing?

Practicing the guitar.

Where do you see your band in five years time?

Hopefully, happy and moving forward.

If you could change one thing about the world in which you live, what would it be?

Control of shelter, food and recreation given back to the people.
