a statement that basically sums up her life. she's got HUGE dreams for the future, and no one's gonna stop her. she's willing to give up her life for it - to live for a cause greater than herself. she's just an ordinary girl, living for an amazing god. but ordinary people can be world-changers, + she has plans to make a difference in this world, with god at her back. her life is firm on the word of truth. she's not perfect, just forgiven! she believes there's a hope for this world, that this generation will rise up as mighty warriors, giving their lives for the love of christ.
Our generation is growing restless.
We don't want more reality TV. We want a new reality.
We're sick of a world of endless 'choices' but no real change.
A world where we have a war on terror, but peace on poverty. And guess which one kills 30,000 children every day?!
We want our lives to count, for something that really counts. We are ready to STIR!!
I have a strong passion to make my life count to the things that really matter.
I am tired of basking in the luxuries and pleasures that Australia is fortunate and lucky to have, while turning a blind eye on the true reality of the harsh world out there. Their suffering, countless deaths every day, every second is horrific and I don't believe that I can continue living my 'ordinary' life, and I won't be satisfied until I know for real that there is no more fighting to be done, no more battles to be won. I believe in giving a voice to those that don't have a voice, to show love to people that have nothing, to give those that are lost, hope. Unfortunately, I do not have much previous experience, but I can assure you that I will bring new ideas, an outgoing personality and a strong desire and drive to positively and hugely impact lives in this world. I am LOOKING for experience haha.
I want to utilize all of my God-given talents and gifts for Him and to BE THE CHANGE THAT I WANT TO SEE IN THIS WORLD.
I believe that in this generation, my generation, is where poverty will be eradicated. I know as a fact, that we are the first generation that has the means and the finances to actually eradicate poverty, all we need now is the willpower. And I want this generation to be remembered as the ones who rose as mighty warriors, for what they truly believed in and weren't apathetic, that held to their heart and didn't care what others would think of them, that were strong spiritually and physically. If everyone followed in their passion and beliefs, I believe this world would be a WONDERFUL place. And I believe in that world, and making a difference to become that world.
I heard somewhere that once your brain has expanded, and you've seen possibilities that you've never dreamed of, it will never settle again to its original dimensions. So I am daring myself to dream BIG!
I would love to be part of an Action Programme overseas, in a poverty-stricken or war-torn country! It is what I want to do when I am grown up, but I want my future to start now!
I want to go out into the field and get my hands dirty!
I know there will be a lot of loss, but I believe each life you save,
each person you impact and give a hope to, is a victory.
And for that reason I know I will press on.
I want to save lives for eternity, not just for today!
