I’m interested in the news far more than is sustainably healthy; I visit Google News at least five times a day and always make sure to see the 7:30 report and/or Lateline. I’m interested in political and issue-based journalism and would one day love to work for the ABC or BBC.

My favorite journalist was Maxine McKew but now it’s probably Michael Brissenden. I also enjoy creative writing and would describe my sttye as quirky and humorous. As well as being into journalism and writing I'm also an 'aspiring actor', as the cliche goes.

The ideas and issues that I’m interested in include federal and international politics, global warming, mental health, education, the role of religion in politics, the role of the US in international relations, the EU, the use of political spin, teen suicide, civil liberties, economics and industrial relations.
