I'm the Development Manager at Inspire, working with the team who 'bring in the bling' to keep sites like this going! I'm also the 'webgoddess' (as opposed to 'master') of the new Inspire website. In addition to my work at Inspire, I'm the mother of a nearly-16-year-old, and I study part time in using music therapy and holistic stuff to assist people to help themselves get well.
I want to stop reading and hearing so much 'bad press' about young people. I want my son - and his friends, and their friends friends - to know they are valued by our society and have a massive role to play in how this world pans out... This is a very cool way to do it!
Who makes me laugh? The Inspire staff (!) and Jim Henson (creator of the muppets)
Who Inspires me? My son, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and anyone else who uses music as a force for change.
