Hi ya, I live in Newtown NSW. I'm happy bout most things but there's also stuff that really piss me off. Like that same sex attracted people can't marry in Australia and the second biggie is the impact of our energy needs each day to run cars driven by one person, planes, water guzzling washing machines etc. Mind you I'm one of the worst offenders! It gets me, but at this stage I'm not sure what i can do about it excxept wash less??Watching old people cross the street inspires me - except if I'm in a hurry - along with people like Ghandi and Rosa Parkes who refused to give up her seat to a white person on a bus in Alabama, 1955. What makes me laugh - my dog, my mates and most politicians.

I've just posted my first action - sending letters to Kevin Rudd, John Howard and Bob Brown seeking support to update the Marriage Act so that marriage is available to all Australians. I've printed out copies and given them to my mates (with stamped addressed envelopes so they can sign them and send them off also.) Here's crossing my toes! Bruce
