Name:	Carter
I live:	D.C. is home, but currently at UNSW

My names Carter and I am a 21 year old Postgraduate student for the U.S. I like traveling and experiencing new cultures.

What I want to change about the world: This seems like a beauty pageant question. I guess theres a lot of broad answers due to their being so much wrong. However, I think there is one common solution and that is education. Obviously if I could stop the Darfur conflict or end extreme poverty, I would, but education combined with sacrifices from individuals could fix these problems and more. So, I guess my answer is increase education(my pageant answer) and work harder myself.

What makes me want to ActNow: I guess this is asking why I joined the program. First would be the people. Jo has helped me a lot in my transition from the states and the founder, Jack Heath, has too. Jack is also someone that my dad has great respect for and I've learned to listen to him. Second, I want to be involved. I am educated(somewhat) on issues and there are problems you can't ignore. I don't have a lot of time to offer now, so this is a good way I can keep connected until I'm out of school.

Who inspires me: My sister. She is the most amazing person I have ever met.

What makes me laugh: Awkward moments.
