*Life motto*: Everything happens for a reason
*Background:*
I was born in Argentina, Buenos Aires and moved to Australia, with my parents and my brother, when I was five years old. I still live at home with all them, my brother is 22, and we all get along very well. As I was born in Argentina I speak fluent Spanish, luckily for me my parents always made my brother and I speak it at home so we would never lose the language and so we could speak to our family back home. Coming from a different country really made me interested about foreign affairs and travel in general. Throughout school I studied French and in 2002 I went on exchange to France for three months. It was a great experience and the first time I had ever spent more than a week out of a large city!
Now that I’ve finished high school I’m in my second year of uni, at Sydney uni. I’m doing a degree in economics with a major in International business and politics. Within this major I chose to participate in an internship which led me to work for Inspire Foundation and write the content for this website.
*Why do I want to act?*
I think that if there are actions that we as young people can take that won’t disturb our busy life styles, but will mean that someone will be much better off then we should do it. I have always donated in little ways that are easy and accessible (buying a daffodil on daffodil day etc), but knowing of more ways to act just makes me want to help even more
*A bit about myself…..*
*If I could have any superpower it would be:*
Teleporting powers: I’d love to never have to wait for any transport, and to get everywhere instantaneously, especially because I’m almost always late for everything. This would be awesome for the mornings (I hate waking up early) and for when I go out and I have to wait/ search for taxis!
*My favourite place in the world:*
My favourite place is defiantly Disneyworld. I will always remember it as the happiest place on earth (as cliché as that sounds), I went Disneyworld when I was 12 and also went to Euro Disney when I was I France. I love the rides and I also love the shows, the hard part is to try and fit in as much as possible.
