I live by doing one thing every day that scares me. I've been abseiling, white water rafting, and recently went sky diving on my 21st!
But I'm not an adrenaline junky. Some of the other things that I've found scary have been starting at uni at The College of Fine Arts (COFA) at UNSW when I didn't know anyone at all - I'm now in my fourth year. I also work 3 jobs which is pretty scary sometimes! I'm a tutor at uni, I do some freelance web design, photography, and film work, and I also work at call centre. Sometimes it gets overwhelming but I wouldn't change it - even if I was nervous at first.
You know that saying - history repeats itself? I don't believe that for a second - I believe people repeat history - which is why it's so important to stand up, take responsibility and produce change. I'm passionate about giving people the opportunities and chances to better their lives. I'm currently a youth ambassador for Reach Out!, The Foundation of Young Australians, and Reality Check - organisations that are based around improving the lives of young people who are either going through something difficult of may not have the opportunities that many other young people have.
