Hello world.
At this time of writing, I am 24 and I live in Perth, Western Australia.
Firstly, allow me to introduce my approach to the world, as it will make any posts or comments of mine easier to understand. In essence, I am a strong advocate of freedom - politically and philosophically.
Politically, I believe in the freedom of self-determination as an expression of the individual will. People should be given the ability to realise their potential and should not be oppressed, either from the government or from socio-economic factors. People should be allowed to express their views, organise, and hold whatever beliefs which takes their fancy, as long as they do not affect another's freedom to do likewise.
Philosophically, I believe in the freedom to act autonomously and in accordance with inner values and beliefs, as far as the action does not impinge of others.
Anyways, the above is a long-winded way to say that you will find that I hold very liberal views and I want to make the world a more equitable place.
On a personal note, I hold a BA in political science and history and am slowly studying for a MA in writing while working. I have a dog, play the guitar, piano and drums, and I enjoy long jogs along the beach.
