Elenabanana
My name is Elena and I live in Brisbane, soon to be Sydney. I finished my Bachelor of Journalism at UQ, will be starting my Grad Cert in Publishing and Editing in a couple of months, and I've worked in community radio and all sorts of things.
Stuff I care about includes closing the digital divide, child soldiers, ending sex tourism, human rights and community media.
I believe in the power of communication
I laugh at a lot of things, especially at inappropriate moments.

Currently reading The Strain, which is quite odd timing considering the swine flu media hype and the missing French Airways plane...
I'm so glad I have a blog on here. I'm addicted to blogs. Over the years I've lost count, but now I have just one, and it's all about juicy books.
I'll have my more random thoughts here, ponderings about my various human rights interests, and you can read all about my neverending quest for employment!
Thanks to Jess for pointing out that my internet browser was the cause of my profile problems. Mozilla ftw!
