I have just started studying Development Studies at LaTrobe uni. As I learn more about social issues, I feel more and more privileged to be free to voice my concerns about our society, and I am realising how important it is to use this freedom to help others that are less fortunate. I feel very passionate about giving a voice to marginalised people. It amazes me that in a country like Australia, indigenous affairs are largely overlooked by the government - I want to help get this country's true history recognised - so that we can start recovering from it. I'm inspired by people who get their voice out there and heard, especially when they have to fight to be heard.
What makes me laugh? Chasers. Granted they can pull some stupid pranks, but when it comes to the people running our country, they are the best at taking the piss.
