Has anybody else heard about the Angus and Robertson boycott? I'm participating. I don't have enough facts to post an article, and no time to research. Apparently, Angus and Robertson bookshops are making small-scale authors and publishers - the ones that aren't major moneyspinners - pay fees of up to 40,000 dollars to keep stocking their books. They can't afford not to be in so many bookstores, but they can't afford the fees either. I think this is outrageous.

Hey guys. I'm going to try to post everywhere because I need petition advice really badly. If you have run a successful petition, or at least one that put a pretty serious dent in the 'opposition', please email me!!! I need advice really bad.

Queensland Education has cut funding for the Muso Magic program. I did it this year and it was so wonderful that i'm trying to get funding reinstated. It's only for rural areas that they've cut funding - as usual, the metro areas are in the clear.
