*Who are you?* Lindy Hogan *What year were you born?* 1982 *A few words about me* I moved from Sydney to Melbourne quite recently (well not so recent anymore!) I moved to Melbourne to start a Masters in International Development… and just for a change of scenery too I guess. I love to travel, especially in the developing world, and recently fell in love with India and all things Indian. (well maybe not ALL things)!! *What really gets me going and what makes me act* I loathe TV! It scares me when I think about how many Australians day and night sit in front of the TV. I know there are some great shows out there but I think TV has totally taken over our lifestyles. The fact that I try not to watch much TV means that I am thinking about and acting on issues I believe in. *This is what I would most like to change about where I live:* I'm still in the "honeymoon period" of living in Melbourne so there's nothing I'd like to change about it right now! *These are my ‘action’ role models* A few years ago in Central America I came to know a woman called Bella – a Canadian woman working with a youth development organisation. For me she was the epitome of ‘action.’ Always smiling, laughing and energetically doing everything she could to make people happy and get things done. She is my ‘action’ role model. *What makes me laugh?* My family. My parents, brother, sister and myself are spread across 3 states and we all get together about once or twice a year. Oh my god, my family are the most hilarious/quirky/funny people ever! Noone makes me laugh more than they do. *My life motto:* Don’t worry, be happy :-)
