There is a lot to see and do on the site but I found that the best way to get a hold on generating your content was to utilize the ActNow toolkit at: http://www.actnow.com.au/Toolkit/ActNow_Content_Kit.aspx.
This will give you all the info you need on how to get your message out there. Be sure to tell us all about yourself as well by clicking the Edit This Page button underneath your user profile. You can also add a photo or avatar if you like to give us a clearer picture of your personality.
