My name is Pauline and I love to smile! And make others smile! I believe that the glass is half full! I used to be scared of the dark becasue I couldnt see what was there but now i know that noone could see me! you just have to change the way you look at the world!  I am currently in my 4th and final year of a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Political Economy and Philosophy!

I have 4 sisters and they are my 4 best friends! I love meeting new people and am up for almost anything at any time...

so I was asked to do a task where I had to write what pisses me off about the world... So much! But the big problem is that there is no problem without a solution! There is so much that can be done to make this world a better place but not much is done... I want to change the way people see the world, I dont want to get to an age where we are just a number! It's scary that still in this day and age there is such a struggle for equality! Between men and women and between races and religions and betwen young people and the rest of the world! This is why I want to ActNow... Because I can!

It's a decision we choose whether we win or lose!     

Things that make me laugh: My youngest sister! We can laugh for hours at the smallest thing and we always make the best of every situation... the Chasers war on Everything, Family Guy, Will and Grace, my grandma... I could go on for ever, I laugh at everything! So cliche` but I believe that laughter is the best medicine!

My father,he knows something about everything and has an amazing thirst for knowledge!!My mother inspires me! She is fantastic! Always smiling always making everyone else smile. Always willing to lend a helping hand, whether or not there is something in it for her! She appreciates the smaller things in life... She taught me "never look back, you'll only bump into something in the future!"

so when i was at work at the cafe, this random guy came in and gave me this poem and smiled... he walked out and said nothing.

" The future comes up so fast, because we hold on to the past, when you let  go you allow, yourself to live in the now, and experience a new dimension, of yourself in creation.

When you give it your everything, its 100% you're committing, amazing things will start to arrive, when you accept responsibility you are alive, and you'll experience the sensation of yourself in creation.

Its a decision we choose, whether we need to win or lose, and its time to declare, that we can all share, and you'll love the destination, of yourself in creation ."

So dont hold on to the past, dont cry about whats in the present, ActNow and make an awesome future!

“I am going to raise awareness of ActNow and the action opportunities of young people through music”

Hopefully my action project will involve a band, good music, lots of young people, lots of great stories about ActNow, getting involved and taking action!

I am trying to organize a free concert for young people where we are going to try to invite more than one band (that my friend plays in) to play at a concert for young people. I also want to get some of the people who have had experience with ActNow to talk to young people about their involvement with Inspire Foundation and experiences with taking action…

There are going to be plenty of flyers and ActNow posters around the place to show young people where to go if they want to change their world!

So I have an awesome story I must share with y'all! I work part time at a coffee shop as a barista right..! So anyway one of my favourite regulars would come in in the morning and I would make him and his secretary a coffee..(keep going it gets better) So I would draw a little cartoon on his coffee lid to distinguish between the coffees and they always made him smile...the drawings were based on current events ;ike the olympics,world cup drought, rain.... so no matter how busy i was i always tried to draw something on his coffee to make him smile... even if it was just a little smiley face... So his secretary called me up to the office this afternoon to show me something, which happened to be a book of all the coffee lid artrworks i had drawn over the past few years all with a small comment underneath.... on the front  page was a an award for making him smile along with my latest artwork.. "the little ray of sunshine" It was just nice to feel apprecated and know that i made someone smile!

It bugs me when people ask me what nationality I am and look at me funny when I say Australian! It bugs me that we are so fussy about what we eat and there are people in a land not so far away that are dying of starvation! It bugs me that the world is such an amazing place yet we dont all put in the effort to keep it that way! it bugs me that we spend so much money on crap and dont have enough to spend on the things that matter! It pisses me off that young people today dont know the power that they hold and their ability to make a difference! it pisses me off that the future is coming up so fast because we are still holding on to the past! It pisses me off to hear I wish i had... Dont wish! Just do! ActNow!
