I grew up around Bondi and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to acquire a decent education. So who would I be not to use such privilege to make the world a better place?

As a society it appears that we are evolving more and more to being one shaped by commerce (and the superficial existence which it tends to inspire) rather than by compassionate people (capable of appreciating each other and gaining enjoyment from making others happy).

It certainly sounds corny, but this world we have forged creates unfathomable injustice which I consider simply unacceptable because often those being wronged appear (and often are) powerless to overcome the predicaments they face alone.

So sincere cries falling on deaf ears makes me want to ActNow.

Anyone brave enough to not be ignorant to the hardships faced by the less fortunate and strong enough to attempt carrying some of those burdens on their own shoulders in an effort to alleviate the suffering of others.

Sadly, I have a tendency to ignore good taste and extract humour from just about any situation. I am particularly fond of anyone capable of exercising some humourous self-ridicule, which I not only find amusing but also consider it a healthy form of keeping ones feet firmly on the ground.
