Hi, I'm Adrianne. I'm one of the first photography interns for ActNow. I just came on board and I will be here for the next few months...I'm excited to photograph some amazing stories and help create new photo galleries. Galleries that support new and existing issues on the website and possibly make some of them multimedia projects so that people can more closely relate to their community.
I came to Australia from the U.S. for a semester abroad to study at Macquarie Uni and work an internship. I'm from Palm Springs, CA, I'm 22 years old, and I attend the University of Missouri-Columbia where I'm currently an undergraduate major in Journalism. My emphasis is photojournalism and I'm also working my way into magazine design and photo editing.
I love getting to know new people and being active outdoors. I especially like to explore lifestyles and health and how various factors related to health affect others. New places inspire me to travel and learn more about others, as well as taking my camera along each new adventure. I enjoy sharing my liveliness and zest for life with those I meet and hopefully those desires are evident in the outcomes of my work.
I'm not gonna lie...I love oldies music, and decorating shows on TV really rock my world! I enjoy cooking and baking at home, napping, new/fun adventures, working out at the gym, cycling, laughing...and of course, surrounding myself with funny people.
Who inspires me? My entire family, my friends, and the stories and experiences of people I meet along the way.
