One thing that gets me going is when people make decisions for themselves or others to the contrary of common knowledge and beliefs (although sometimes this can be due to uninformed decisions being made or the information simply not being generally available). For example the Federal Government choosing not to ratify the Kyoto protocol, and at a more individual level, issues of alcohol and drug abuse and gambling. Other things that get me going is when someone’s rights or freedom of speech is not respected by others and the general treatment and misrepresentation of youth in Australia. Who inspires me? My dad is someone I admire for taking action… if something isn’t right, he’ll make a phone-call and take them to task! But at the same time he doesn’t get over-wound up on an issue and is welcome to listen to explanations and views. What makes me laugh? People who order weird sandwich combinations where I work (Subway). 'Little Britain' is great too.
