HI, I'm Catherine, but I usually get either cat or catie. I grew up on the south coast of NSW, right on the ocean. Growing up there gave me a great appreciation for nature and especially the ocean. Love the water, so living in Sydney is a little bit hard sometimes. The beaches just aren't the same.
I am just like everyone else, in that I love to hang out with friends, whether that be at the beach, a club or just random adventures or BBQ.
I am strong minded and willed by nature, and I have my father to thank for that. He taught me that if you don't stand for what you believe you will fall for anything. So I guess that is kind of what I live by. So once I believe in something I become very passionate and get a drive to make my opinion heard. Mind you that doesn't mean that I think everyone will agree with my opinion. I don't expect people to. However there are some issues that everyone need's to agree on otherwise nothing will happen and the problems will just grow until they are at the point where no-one is able to do a thing about it.
I currently work full time at a barristers chambers which is great because I love my job and the people I work with. But my real aim and passion is to become a teacher. I believe that education is the key, and i'd like to be a part of that. So next year I will be starting my teaching course.
So that is me in a nut shell. Probably a small nut shell but either way there it is.
